Richa Chadha reveals if Ali Fazal is going to have a cameo in Fukrey 3.
Recently, the makers of Fukrey 3 unveiled a hilarious trailer of the movie, however, Ali Fazal’s absence in the film left fans a little disappointed. Now, Richa Chadha, who will be essaying the role of Bholi Punjaban in the movie, revealed if Ali has a cameo in the film.
In a conversation with News18, when asked if Ali Fazal has a cameo in Fukrey 3, Richa Chadha said, “In the last film, he gets married to a character named Neetu Ma’am and is on his honeymoon in Goa. So, I don’t know if he has a cameo in the film. I haven’t seen it yet.”
Earlier, Ali Fazal also opened up on his absence from the movie and said, “It breaks my heart but that has nothing to do with Hollywood. It was actually… I was stuck with work here and Mirzapur 3 was also happening at the same time. It was the same production, so we all had to take a call together. It was honestly heart-breaking for all of us but it’s Fukrey, it is family. I chill with these guys more than I end up shooting with them. I think it is one of the few friendships that have carried on for so long.”
For the unversed, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Lucknow last year. The two met on the sets of Fukrey in 2013 and fell in love with each other. Talking about the same, Richa Chadha told News18, "We used to hang out a lot. We would meet once every month. This was in 2013. We would keep meeting each other in one way or the other, be it at screenings or over meals at our friends’ homes. After hanging out so much, we soon realized that we could go out on a date or two and see what happens next. That’s how it started."
The trailer of the film gave a glimpse of the new gift that Choocha (Varun Sharma) gets in the threequel, showing how Pulkit Samrat and the gang are all set to fight the election against Bholi Punjaban.
Helmed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Fukrey 3 stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi, and Manjot Singh in key roles. Produced under the banner of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, the movie is scheduled to be released in theatres on September 28.
