Sonam Kapoor: I have the luxury of choices and need to take advantage of it

Sonam Kapoor's entry in the film industry might not be the most remembered, but she is now set to make a mark with her luxury of choices, which she in her own words, can take advantage of.

She and Ranbir Kapoor made their debut in Bollywood together in 'Black' director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya. Even though that film failed to create magic, Sonam and Ranbir's last film Sanju was the biggest movie at the Box Office in 2018.

Sonam has, in the recent past, taken some drastic shift in picking film. From 'Players', she went on to pick 'Neerja', from 'Aisha', she shifted to 'Veere Di Wedding' and from 'Bewakoofiyan', she is now set to do 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga', the trailer of which looks promising.

Talking about being able to experiment with her movies, Sonam says, "I feel I have a safety net because of my dad. So I can experiment. But I also feel responsible. I know there are expectations and I just try to reach them."

Further when asked about her brave choices, she went on to give the modest answer, "I don't consider my choices brave but just choices."

In fact she went on to add, "That's what I always say. I have luxury of choice because of my dad. When I do have that, I need to take advantage of it."

Sonam Kapoor got married to London-based businessman Anand Ahuja this year and she will soon be seen in 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' which also stars Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles.
