Shah Rukh Khan’s dialogue ‘bete ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar’ in Jawan grabbed everyone's attention. Now, the writer of the film directed by Atlee, now, revealed that this dialogue was never part of the film.

Many believed that this dialogue was a response to the arrest of his SRK’s son Aryan Khan in the drugs case in October 2021. Now the writer of the film, Arora, said, “It’s a story that will make you believe in the magic of movie-making. That line was never there in our draft originally. The ‘moment’ where SRK sir’s character says the line was always there and we all knew that it is a powerful moment even without a dialogue. But while shooting, it was felt that there should be a line, that this guy should say something.”

"I was there on the set, so I was called in, and the first words that came out of my mouth given the situation were: 'bete ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar'. It felt like the most obvious and most apt thing he should say at that moment. It just fits (in). Director Atlee and SRK sir both felt it's correct and the shot was taken," he added in a statement.

Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi-starrer action thriller Jawan has already been regarded as an all-time blockbuster. Fans and critics have loved it and SRK is busy garnering praise for his dual roles. Ever since Jawan released, Shah Rukh has been replying to fans' tweets, and resharing reaction videos on his X (formerly Twitter).

After SS Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu, Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Riteish Deshmukh, and several other celebs, his Dilwale (2015) co-star Varun Dhawan has shared his review of Jawan. Recently, Varun watched Shah Rukh Khan's latest film, and he shared his views about it on X. On Wednesday, Varun tweeted, "#jawaan is blockbuster stuff. @iamsrk delivers as an actor and superstar. So much fun I felt. Like a kid in a candy store. Each moment beautifully executed by @Atlee_dir Anna kya baat hain sirr super stuff."
