The makers of 'Sanju' released a new song, titled 'Baba Bolta Hai Bas Ho Gaya' from the film on July 1. The credit-closing song brings together both real and reel life Sanjay Dutt on screen as they join hands to rage against the media. 

While the seemingly quirky number, that is sung by Papon, Ranbir Kapoor and Supriya Pathak, highlights the endearing chemistry between Ranbir and Sanjay as they shake a leg together in matching outfits; it also targets the media for allegedly spreading fake news about film celebrities.

The lyrics of the song draw your attention towards the issue of fake news and how media exagerrates the lives of film personalities by making a moutain out of a mole. It mocks the media 'sources' who allegedly cook up baseless stories about the stars. The video ends with both Ranbir and Sanjay tearing newspapers and throwing them in the audience's faces. 

Despite director Rajkumar Hirani being questioned for his appraoch of slamming media's coverage of Sanjay Dutt's life in order to fix his image, Sanju has gone on to become a runaway success at box office by raking in Rs 73.35 crore in just two days of release.
