Kangana Ranaut is quite vocal about her thoughts on social media. The actress recently dismissed the reports of having a tiff with Sunny Deol and now, the actress has heaped praise on Gadar 2 and called it ‘proper massy content.’

On Saturday, Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram and while sharing a video of the craze among the fans for Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, the actress heaped praise on the movie and wrote, “No mafia politics, no bought reviews no fake propaganda no buying of tickets through bulk corporate bookings, no cartoon-looking actors, proper manly hero and
proper massy content.” 

She also added that Gadar 2 could have earned Rs 65-70 crore on day 1 had it been a solo release and not clashed with OMG 2. The actress wrote, “Forget holiday even if it was a solo release first day could easily be 65-70cr...but it's not just the economic drought that's getting over in the film industry but look at people, happy to see cinema bring excitement and nationalism back in people's lives. Long live Tara Singh @iamsunnydeol.” 

Helmed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 stars Sunny Deol as Tara Singh, Ameesha Patel as Sakina, and Utkarsh Sharma as Charanjeet along with Manish Wadhwa, Luv Sinha, Simrat Kaur, and Gaurav Chopra among others. The movie is a direct sequel to the 2001 hit Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and focuses on Tara Singh crossing the India-Pakistan border to save his son Charanjeet and bring him back home.

Sunny Deol-starrer opened to a thunderous response from the audience. The movie has shattered post-pandemic opening day records and established its place in the top 10 of all-time highest opening days in Bollywood history. The film collected Rs 40.10 crore at the box office on day 1 which 4 times the collection of Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2. 

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut will be next seen in the movie Chandramukhi 2 starring Raghava Lawrence. The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on September 19. Other than this, the actress also has Tejas in the pipeline which is scheduled to clash with Tiger Shroff’s Ganapath: Part 1 on October 20. Not only this, she will also be seen in the self-directional film Emergency which also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, and Satish Kaushik and is set to release in theatres on November 24.
