The new concept video imagines bezel-less display, in-screen Touch ID and front camera.
Every other day, we get to see leaked images or renders of the upcoming iPhone 8. Now, a new concept video uploaded online gives us a peak at what the new smartphone might look like.
Going by the YouTube user ConceptsiPhone, the video shows us the iPhone 8 will feature an almost bezel-less design. This definitely marks the first big change made to the form factor in a very long time. Additionally, we can spot dual rear cameras on the back. This goes in line with previously leaked images by Twitter user Benjamin Geskin which also hinted at the fact that the upcoming iPhone will feature a glass back with a 2.5D curved glass and a vertical dual camera setup.
Interestingly, the video also imagines a hidden or an invisible front-facing camera. Similar to the Galaxy S8, the iPhone 8 seems to have an in-screen touch ID fingerprint sensor. The video also shows off a Black and White metal body along with speaker grille and an USB port respectively. However, there is no confirmation by Apple regarding any details at the moment and we still have a long time to go till we get a glimpse of the next iPhone. Till then, let us take this news with a pinch of salt.
Recently, serial tipster Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities, who is known for his accurate prediction on Apple devices, stated that the new iPhone 8 will indeed make an appearance at the big event in September, but the devices might not go on sale immediately.
It is reportedly believed that the 10th anniversary iPhone will most likely not go up for sale at the same time the rumored 7S and 7S Plus models hit Apple Store shelves. This may be because there are issues with the 3D sensing tech which is set to debut on the new device. These 3D sensors are said to take advantage of new augmented reality technology.
