Heavy rains on Tuesday lashed Mumbai and adjoining regions, affecting daily lives all over the city. Local train services were hit and traffic jams were reported on all major roads. Most Mumbaikar's advised each other to remain home and stay safe. However, heavy rain was also causing trouble at homes with rainwater getting into several houses.
It seems actor Lara Dutta was facing a similar problem and she was quick to use all resources at home, in this case towels from her hubby Mahesh Bhupathi's grand slam tournaments.
Lara posted a picture of her house which showed several towels being used to keep the rainwater out. She wrote, ''Putting our Wimbledon, US Open, Aus Open & French Open towels to good use! @Maheshbhupathi #MumbaiRain. Stay safe & indoors if possible folks!"

Twitter users were quick to join in the fun. Journalist Boria Majumdar suggested that they could put these towels in the Fanattic Sports Museum next to Bhupathi's racket and say they were "used to counter Mumbai floods, not just during tennis matches.''
Indeed! Will add them to where Mahesh's racket is! And will say was also used to counter mumbai floods, not just during tennis matches!
