Twitter hails Man Utd keeper David De Gea after he single-handedly keeps Tottenham out

The match between Manchester United and Tottenham took a massive turn after the one lone goal by Marcus Rashford.

However, Man Utd goal keep David De Gea stole the limelight for the number of saves he did. The Spaniard kept out everything Spurs had thrown at him in a classy display at Wembley.

De Gea has been at Old Trafford since 2011 but could be on the move soon. He’s contracted to the club for another 18 months but it’s unclear whether he’ll sign an extension amid interest from Europe’s biggest clubs.

However, Twitter and fans want the club to keep the man who saved the day for Manchester United.

The result moves United to within six points of the top four and leaves Spurs nine points off the title pace.
