McLaren driver Lando Norris announced that he was ready for Hungarian Grand Prix after returning to England.

The British racer had flown back to see a specialist for the muscle pain he was suffering from last weekend's Styrian Grand Prix.

The 20-year-old said in a video news conference that he was feeling better ahead of Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix.

"I went back to the UK in the last few days, remaining in my bubble, to go and see some specialists and get scans and so on," he said.

"It's not something that's going to heal completely overnight but I'm much better than what I was last weekend."

Lando is currently sitting third, just behind Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton, on the Formula 1 championship table after bagging his first podium finish during the Australian GP.

The young British racer finished P5 during last week's Styrian GP after a breathtaking final lap, outpacing both Sergio Perez and Daniel Ricciardo.

After two back to back outstanding performances from Norris, McLaren will be hoping to Norris work his magic again in Hungary this week.

"I'm all right for now. It's hard to know until I'm in the car and I'm pushing it to the limit again, but for now everything is good," Norris added.
