WWE TLC: Kurt Angle to return to wrestling ring as Shield reunion suffers 'viral' setback

The Shield reunion will have to wait!

Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt will be not be a part of World Wrestling Entertainment's Tables Ladders and Chairs (WWE TLC) pay-per-view event scheduled for Sunday. Reigns and Wyatt will be unable to compete due to an unspecified viral infection. 

Hall of Famer and current RAW GM Kurt Angle will make his first in-ring appearance for WWE in more than 11 years. He will replace Roman Reigns to join Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in their 3-on-5 handicapped match against The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro, Braun Strowman and Kane. It will be Angle's first televised match for WWE since August 8, 2006. 

AJ Styles, who world on SmackDown Live, will make a one-night-only appearance on RAW to take on Finn Balor, taking the place of Wyatt.

Following the changes, this is what the card looks like for WWE Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2017:

- The Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallagher v/s Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann

- Kalisto v/s Enzo Amore (WWE Cruiserweight Championship)

- Finn Balor v/s AJ Styles 

- Asuka v/s Emma

- Alexa Bliss v/s Mickie James (WWE Raw Women's Championship)

- Kurt Angle, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose v/s Braun Strowman, The Miz, Kane, Cesaro and Sheamus (TLC match)
