Among the significant changes, additional DGP Ajit Parasnis and DIG Prandnya Sarvade of Anti Corruption Bureau were transferred. Parasnis would take over as principal secretary, home department while Sarvade was shifted as DIG, SRPF. Anti Terrorism Squad DCP Ashutosh Dumbare would replace Sarvade.
Additional police commissioner Hemant Nagrale, who was promoted as special IG, director-vigilance & security, MSDCL, would be replaced by Solapur commissioner Ashok Kamate. Crime branch DCP Deven Bharati has been promoted as additional commissioner of the crime branch.
Special IG, establishment, DG office SS Barve will replace Vijay Kamble as joint commissioner of police, traffic-Mumbai. Kamble has been transferred as additional DG. Additional DG SRPf Javed Ahmed has been transferred as additional DG, establishment.
Kolhapur police superintendent Sukhwinder Singh has been promoted and appointed as additional commissioner, ATS. DCP zone IV Sunil Ramandand has been promoted and transferred to special branch one. He will replace Suresh Kakkar, who has been promoted and transferred as special IG, establishment.
Thane additional CP D Kanakratnam was promoted and transferred as special IG, state human rights commission. He will take over from BN Raut, who has been transferred as additional DG, home guards and civil defence.
Economic offence wing’s additional police commissioner SV Date has been transferred as additional CP, central region. Sanjay Saxsena will replace Date. Additional police commissioners of Nagpur BK Upadyay, MK Karve and Prabhat Kumar have been transferred as Solapur commissioner, special IG, State CID crime and Pune additional commissioner.
