Ganesh Chaturthi 2023 Day 2: How, when and where to watch live aarti from Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple

Ganeshotsav holds a lot of religious significance. Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayak Chaturthi, the 10-day-long Hindu festival commenced yesterday - September 19, 2023. It is believed that Lord Ganesha graces the Earth during this festival and brings happiness, wisdom, and prosperity to his devotees. 

Devotees from all over the world are eager to witness the Siddhivinayak Temple's celebrations in person.  The puja from the temple will be broadcast online for those who won't be able to attend the festival in person this year. 

• The Siddhivinayak Temple is well known for its daily rituals, which include a number of aartis, each of which offers worshippers a distinctive experience. Here are the aarti and darshan timings:
• The morning aarti, known as the “Kakad Aarti," takes place from 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM.
• The evening aarti can be observed between 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM.
• The final aarti of the day, the “Sheeja Aarti," is performed at 9:50 PM, marking the temple’s closing time.
• The timings to visit the temple in the morning are from 6:00 AM to the afternoon at 12:15 PM. Then, the Shree Darshan can be observed from the afternoon at 12:30 PM to the evening at 7:20 PM.

Temple authorities of Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple have authorized a mobile application called Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple to cover the live aarti so that devotees from around the world can witness the celebrations. It is a free app that can be used on iOS, Android, and iPad.
