Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi would start the next leg of his five-day election campaign in Uttar Pradesh in Bundelkhand region of the state beginning January 17.
Congress sources in Lucknow said that Gandhi would start his campaign from Jhansi and then travel to Lalitpur and other districts before addressing a public meeting in Duddhi, Sonbhadra district, on January 21.
During these five days he would address separate election meetings in the region.
So far, Rahul Gandhi has covered about 78 assembly segments of the state, the sources added.
