Puducherry Assy to have brief budget session from March 30

: The 30-member assembly of Puducherry will have the budget session (2017-2018) for two days from March 30.

Chief Minister V Narayanasamy told reporters here that the decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by him here yesterday.

Narayanasamy said a vote on account would be adopted in the session for earmarking funds as an interim arrangement as a full budget cannot be presented as the Finance Ministry's approval for the fund allocation sought was awaited.
