In a shocking incident, the police have booked a 45-year-old woman in Andhra Pradesh for sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy.
The middle-aged woman was booked under the Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for abusing the minor boy, according to the India Today report.
The victim's family had alleged that the accused, a widow from the past seven years, was a neighbour who was residing alone. She has been living alone in the residence since her husband passed away.
According to the report, the first sexual abuse happened on May 5 in Vijayawada's Vambay colony.
It was however on June 7 that the victim's mother caught the accused woman trying to rape her son and reported the matter to the police. The victim had said the accused had forced him for the first time on May.
