Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 17: In a world brimming with uncertainty, where the threads of life seem delicate and unpredictable, a group of visionary artists gather to celebrate the unwavering resilience of both the human spirit and the natural world. 'Bloom Where You Are Planted' is a captivating art exhibition hosted at the renowned Jehangir Art Gallery in Kala Ghoda, Mumbai, unveils a captivating narrative that mirrors the harmonious coexistence between human creativity and nature's enduring strength.

From August 16 to 21, 2023, art enthusiasts and nature admirers will witness a collection of artworks that delves into the harmonious relationship between artistic expression and nature's innate ability to flourish even in the face of challenges. Created by Bhaskar Bothcha, Nidhi Jacob, Shampa Sircar Das, Sandeep Jigdung and Siddharth Shingade – the show is a visual treat.

The exhibition invites visitors to delve into a world where artists' interpretations are deeply entwined with the essence of life's cycle, rebirth, and the enduring beauty of the natural world. The show is a collective ode to India’s forests and rich bio-diversity.

Narrating Through Intricate Details

As visitors navigate the Auditorium gallery, they encounter a symphony of artistic expressions that intricately weave tales of growth, transformation, and renewal. Whether it's the delicate petals of a flowering plant, the intricate texture of a tree's bark, or spiritual motifs on a figurative canvas – the artists' attention to detail serves as a testament to their reverence for the intricate dance of life.

The Heart of ‘Bloom Where You Are Planted'

At the core of & 'Bloom Where You Are Planted' lies the celebration of life's cyclical nature – the ebb and flow, birth and rebirth that characterizes both the artistic process and the evolution of nature. The artists' interpretations mirror the transformative journey of nature, where the resilience of life perpetually emerges from the cocoon of challenges.

Lending their presence and charisma to this celebration of art and nature were Chief Guest Lillete Dubey, Film & Stage Actor, alongside gallerist Kalpana Shah and artist Nayana Kanodia as the Guest of Honour. The show was well attended by many other artists and the art world fraternity at large. Said Dubey, “This is a not to be missed show; not only does it refresh the spirit with its colour and vibrance, the meticulous detail and diverse narrative by every artist is noteworthy.”

Sapna Kar and Rajneeta Kewalramani, Co-Founders of the curators.art, share their enthusiasm for the exhibition, articulating, "Today, we stand amidst the vibrant hues and intricate brushstrokes that compose the 'Bloom where you are Planted'; art show. This exhibition also takes on a special significance as it unfolds around India's Independence Day.
