Just a matter of few hours now and close to 8 lakh students who are eagerly waiting for WBCHSE Results 2017 can afford to relax. West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE), will publish WB 12th HS Results 2017 today, May 30 at 10.30 AM. 

Students who appeared for  WBCHSE XII Exam 2017 can get their result by logging on to the official websites.  The merit list will be announced by the council President at 10 AM. This year WB 12th Class Exam was held between 15th and 29th March. So after an arduous wait of over two months, finally students from all stream will get their WBCHSE HS Class 12th Result.

In Class X exam results, published on May27th, students from Kolkata couldn't do as well as expected and students from districts dominated the merit list. Only 1 student from Kolkata featured in the top 10. It will be interesting to see if the trend continues for Class XII. 

How to check WBCHSE Class 12th Result 2017

1. Log on to either of the official website  wbchse.nic.in , wbresults.nic.in​ 

2. Click on the tab titled WB Board 12th Results 2017 

3.  Provide your roll number and date of birth 

4. Result will be flashed on screen

5. Take a printout of the result for future reference

In case, the websites are unavailable due to high traffic, you need not worry.

About the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) :

The Government of West Bengal has established the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, Act 1975. The council is the main body which looks after the education system in the 10+2. The council has its main office at Salt Lake, Bidhannagar, Korunamoyee, Kolkata along with 4 regional offices. 

The Council is a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, and is entitled to acquire, hold and dispose of property, to enter into contracts and to do all other things necessary for the purposes of this Act and shall by its name sue and be used. Its functions are executed through an Organisation Structure.
