    Let's get started!

    #10: Russia

Russia has censored YouTube in the past due to battles with extremism. In 2010, a video showing an Islamic extremist claiming responsibility for the Moscow Metro Bombings was uploaded and then removed. The Kavkaz Center claimed that Russian officials ordered the removal of over 300 of their videos. In July 2010, the city court of Komsomolsk-on-Amur tried to block YouTube for hosting extremist content, but the ban failed.

    #9: Brazil

The paparazzi record everything. In September 2006, Daniella Cicarelli and her boyfriend were filmed fooling around on a public beach. The video gained attention on the internet, and Cicarelli asked YouTube to remove it. Despite their efforts, users kept re-uploading the clip. Frustrated, Cicarelli and her boyfriend sued and requested that YouTube be banned until the video was taken down. Surprisingly, the Brazilian court agreed and blocked YouTube in the country for a few days before reversing the decision.

    #8: Turkey

YouTube censorship in Turkey is not uncommon. The first incident happened in March 2007 when videos insulting Turkey's founder were posted. Türk Telecom, the country's main internet provider, was told to block the site until the offensive videos were taken down.

    #7: Libya

In January 2010, Libyans discovered that YouTube was blocked due to unacceptable videos. These videos showed protests by inmates' family members and a lavish party attended by Muammar al-Gaddafi's family. The ban was lifted after one year, at the end of the Libyan Civil War.

    #6: Thailand

YouTube censorship is not uncommon in Thailand. In 2006, several videos were posted on the site that mocked the country's King, which is illegal under Thai law. To unblock the site, Google had to remove 20 "offensive" videos, including those insulting the King and criticizing the law. It was blocked again in March 2007, without an official reason, and again the following month due to more offensive videos and images of the monarch. Finally, after nearly five months, the ban was lifted when YouTube agreed to block the offensive content from Thai viewers.

    #5: Turkmenistan

On Christmas Day, 2009, YouTube and other social websites were blocked in Turkmenistan without an official reason given. According news sources, the bans were an attempt by Turkmenistan officials. They wanted citizens unable access alternative information and news sources, and prevent outside journalists sharing intelligence with independent media. Turkmenistan has limited freedom of press as the government controls most media. Partial access was briefly restored but suspended again in 2017.

    #4: China

YouTube is blocked in China, except for certain areas. It was first blocked in October 2007 for five months. It was blocked again in March 2009 after videos showed security officials beating protesters in Tibet. China denounced the video, called it doctored, and placed a ban on YouTube. The ban has remained in place since then.

    #3: Pakistan

Pakistan has implemented multiple bans on YouTube. The first ban occurred in February 2008 due to "non-Islamic objectionable videos." However, some believe the real reason was videos showing evidence of vote-rigging. Another ban happened in May 2010 after blasphemous images of Muhammad were posted. The ban was then reinforced when YouTube failed to remove the trailer for "Innocence of Muslims," an anti-Islamic film. The ban was finally lifted three years later with the launch of a local version of YouTube that allowed government officials to have better control over controversial content.

    #2: Iran

Iran has a history of internet censorship, particularly regarding Youtube. Although some ISPs and educational institutions have access to the video sharing site, access to Youtube was banned for the majority of the country after the release of the "Innocence of Muslims" trailer in 2012.

    #1: North Korea

Access to YouTube is blocked in North Korea. Many citizens don't have internet access. The government controls the internet for those who do have access. In April 2016, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter were banned. Accessing these sites could result in an unknown punishment.

Why did these countries banned Youtube videos and ban people to access Youtube blocked?

All the lot of countries where Youtube is banned have their own set of reasons listed in the blog post above.

This was my full list of many countries where Youtube is banned and the many reasons why these countries block youtube videos embedded and why they banned youtube access to youtube often. Being Youtube banned and censored and having a blocked access censored to youtube on this popular video sharing platform is not fun that blocks you from watching a Youtube video or watching music videos or having a Youtube channel freely completely blocked on the Youtube app and application, in Google translate or in another search engine online.

This is not fun especially on social media platforms like Google services and Tiktok, but not all countries ban Youtube and TikTok or has Youtube restrictions or TikTok restrictions or block access to streaming sites like Twitch in many countries or on Youtube TV or Apple TV. The North Korean government fears the Chinese government and has also blocked china videos insulting their politician leaders.
