While superstars making big bucks isn’t surprising, the salaries of these child actors, who are seen on popular international TV shows, web series and movies, will probably have you going green with envy. These little talent powerhouses are much-in-demand and have fans across the globe. Here’s looking at who’s ruling the roost at the moment.

MILLIE BOBBY BROWN

Though this young actress had appeared in small roles in a few shows like Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, NCIS, Modern Family, Grey’s Anatomy, and two films, her big breakthrough came playing Eleven on Stranger Things. The 14-year-old earned a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series at the age of 13, for the science-fiction drama series.

A website stated that the show’s other child stars — Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Noah Schnapp (Will) and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) — were initially earning around $20,000 per episode for the first two seasons. While they will take home $250,000 per episode for the next season, Mille will reportedly get $350,000. That puts her on par with the show’s adult stars, Winona Ryder (Joyce) and David Harbour (Hopper). Now, which 14-year-old can beat that figure?

RICO RODRIGUEZ

Rico has made a handful of appearances in many TV shows and some films, but the world knows him as Manny from The Modern Family. Though acting isn’t his dream profession, he’s been playing his character since 2009. Rico is a co-winner of the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series in 2011 and 2012. The 19-year-old allegedly earns $75,000 per episode.

MAX CHARLES

Max started acting at the age of seven appearing in the third season of the HBO series True Blood in 2010. Since then, the child star, whose net worth is estimated to be around $1 million, has featured in 21 films and 16 TV shows. His most popular TV shows include Raising Hope, Hot in Cleaveland, Constantine and The Neighbours. In 2016, he was nominated as The Best Young Actor for his performance in the TV show The Strain.

MIA TALERICO

This little girl began her career when she was just 11-months-old. Mia became a millionaire at the age of eight! Now who else can boast of something like that? The actress has also been featured in the Disney TV movie, Good Luck Charlie, It’s Christmas! and the horror flick Shadow Theory. Today, at the tender age of nine, her net worth is $2 million.

TY SIMPKINS

He’s one of the most in-demand child actors in Hollywood at the moment having been featured in blockbusters like Iron Man 3, Jurrasic World, Insidious and Insidious: Chapter 2. Ty won the 2016 Saturn Award for his performance in Jurrasic World. Besides this, he has also been featured in other movies and TV shows like War of The Worlds, Little Children, and Revolutionary Road to name a few... Now at 16, Ty’s net worth is estimated at $2 million. He has also been signed for a three-movie deal with Marvel Studios and will reprise his role as Harley in the upcoming untitled Avengers film, intended to be the sequel to 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War.

NOAH SCHNAPP

This 13-year-old kid has done voiceovers for movies like The Peanuts Movie (2015), The Angry Birds Movie (2016), appeared in Bridge of Spies (2015) and other films which are currently under post-production stages. But Noah is currently the rage playing Will Byer’s the hit show Stranger Things. 

FINN WOLFHARD

This Canadian child actor is best known for playing Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things. He also featured last year’s Stephen King’s adaptation movie It. Finn has also featured in yet to be released movies Dog Days (2018) and The Turning (2019) and is filming for The Goldfinch (2019). 

GATEN MATARAZZO

He began his showbiz career in Broadway productions Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and Les Misérables, and has appeared in TV series like The Blacklist and Ridiculousness. Not only this, last year, he’s also featured in a music video Swish Swish by Katy Perry. Currently, Gaten is playing Dustin Henderson in Stranger Things.

CALEB MCLAUGHLIN

Caleb began his career on the Broadway stage as Young Simba in the musical The Lion King. He’s appeared in many TV shows and a couple of music videos. He currently stars as Lucas Sinclair in Stranger Things.
