Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige teases all-female superhero ensemble movie

Black Panther introduced inspiring female characters in the form of Danai Gurira as Okoye, Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia, Letitia Wright as Shuri. It is a powerful addition to other female superhero characters of Marvel Cinematic Universe that includes Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Karen Gillan as Nebula and Brie Larson as Captain Marvel.

Enough people to have their own Marvel ensemble movie?

Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige thinks so.

In an interview with Vulture Feige said that fans asking for a movie about the leading ladies of Black Panther is 'an embarrassment of riches.' "Even watching the audience at the Black Panther premiere respond to Lupita, Letitia, and certainly Danai in their action sequences … you watch Danai spinning around in that casino, taking out dozens of people, and you go, ‘Of course, you can make a whole movie about that!’” said Feige.

So when is all female Marvel coming out?

Feige said, "It is all about figuring out when and how. But by the way, many of them have already filmed additional scenes in upcoming movies, so some of that is gonna come sooner rather than later. All of them will be seen again.”

This is Feige talking about the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, set to release on April 27. The trailer for the third Avenger movie already showed Black Widow and Dora Milaje General Okoye fight side by side with Captain America, Hulk, Winter Soldier, and Black Panther.

So Feige's comments confirm that there will be more scenes that will pass the Bechdel Test.

Brie Larson is already shooting for the standalone Captain Marvel movie. After years of 'fancry' reports said that studio has finally hired writers to work on Black Widow movie.
