Welcome to our world, Niharika!

Gautam and Nawaz Singhania, who became proud parents of a bonny baby girl late on Saturday night, have decided to name their newborn Niharika Singhania. “I must confess that it’s Nawaz who picked out the name,” Gautam Singhania told After Hours on Sunday afternoon. “It means ‘a galaxy of stars’ and I loved it too. Of course, we had a boy’s name chosen and ready as well, just in case…”

 

Expectedly, the new parents are on a high. “Nawaz and Niharika are both doing fine,” Singhania informed. “It’s too early to say who she looks like – she’s so tiny right now. But the feeling I’m experiencing is something I’ve never felt before!”

 

F.Y.I.: Just a couple of hours after he became a father, after ensuring wife Nawaz was fine and safely tucked in at Breach Candy Hospital, Gautam Singhania was seen celebrating at Anu and Sunny Diwan’s party at his newly opened club, Poison.
