Telugu film industry has lost one of it's most talented actors. Comedian Gundu Hanumantha Rao passed away this morning in Hyderabad. Reports suggest that the actor succumbed to kidney failure early on Monday morning. 61 year old actor was at his residence when he breathed his last at 5 am.

Telugu film industry has lost one of it's most talented actors. Comedian Gundu Hanumantha Rao passed away this morning in Hyderabad. Reports suggest that the actor succumbed to kidney failure early on Monday morning. 61 year old actor was at his residence when he breathed his last at 5 am.
According to a report by The News Minute, the actor was suffering from heart and kidney ailments and undergoing treatment for the same. In poor financial conditin, the actor was financially helped by actor Chiranjeevi and his the state government during his sickness.
His friends in the film industry and fans are shocked by the demise of the actor, who will always be remembered for films Jodi No.1, Kedi No. 1, Nenu Seetamahalakshmi, Rajendradu Gajendradu. Fans took to Twitter to say 'thank you for the laughs' for his work in TV show Amrutham, which even won him Nandi award.
Gundu Hanumantha Rao started his career in theatre and went on act in nearly 600 films. He made his big screen debut in 1987 film, Aha Na Pellanta where he where he played a bride’s father who was hard of hearing.

The actor is survived by his son.
