'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' second biggest Telugu release after 'Baahubali'

Sardaar Gabbar Singh is the most highly-anticipated Telugu film of 2016. It stars Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the lead role and Kajal Aggarwal as his lady love. This film is made on a budget of Rs 70 crore and the makers are almost on the safe side as they recovered the major part of this money in pre-release business. Now it is also creating a sensation in ticket bookings too.

As per reports, Sardaar Gabbar Singh is releasing in more than 100 theatres in 14 states of USA. Distributors have paid a huge fancy amount for the overseas rights. It is set for a grand premiere on April 7th in 184 locations around USA. Even with high ticket prices at $25-28 for adults and $15 for kids, Sardaar Gabbar Singh is shattering US booking records. According to trade analysts, it is expected to collect $650,000 collection on Day 1 in USA itself.

Reportedly, Sardaar Gabbar Singh's Telugu version is releasing in 1800 screens and Hindi version in 800 theatres all over the world. It is set to become the second biggest Telugu release after Baahubali The Beginning. Sardaar Gabbar Singh is also releasing in 42 countries like UAE, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa and more.

The film is directed by K.S. Ravindra (Bobby) and it is jointly produced by Sharrath Marar, Eros International and Pawan Kalyan Creative Works. It is scheduled for worldwide release on April 8th in Telugu and Hindi.
