Kannada actress Aindrita Ray turns stylist for her movie

Those of you who have seen Kannada film Dhool would probably remember being quite mesmerised by actress Aindrita Ray’s costumes in the film. A little known fact is that it was the actress' first attempt at styling her own look for a big screen outing. Encouraged by the appreciation that came her way, Aindrita has now decided to continue her tryst with fashion.

“I am busy shopping for outfits that I can wear for the songs of my next film — Parijatha,” says the actress who has just returned to the city after a brief holiday in Coorg. “It’s fun to put my costumes together, especially when people appreciate it.”

While she’s got the nod from the makers of Parijatha, her backstage work here may go on to make the necessary style impact on her next film Paramathma too. “In Paramathma, I am sharing screen space with yet another heroine — Deepa Sannidhi. This is a first time for me, as I have only done solo heroine films till date. However, that is not much of a concern as I trust the makers — Yogaraj Bhatt and Suri — completely. They have given me a fabulous author-backed role which will challenge my acting skills and push me to the limit,” says Aindrita. So could we expect some ego clashes that usually occur when two heroines work together? Aindrita says, “On the contrary, I think this will be a team where you will see that the heroines get along pretty well off screen.” As long as Aindrita is allowed to style herself once more, she’ll probably ensure she shines through — with or without another heroine for company.
