Vidyut Jammwal and Ada Sharma starrer Commando 2 has released on Friday. While the critics have not really like the film, they have appreciate Vidyut's powerful act, which also is the biggest highlight of the flick.
Now, the film has released and despite Vidyut's efforts, the film failed to pack in a punch at the box office. The film opened to similar occupancy like last week's release Rangoon. It had an extremely slow start and it opened to 10-15% at multiplexes.
In the single screens, the occupancy is considerably higher, around 30-35%. But that isn't the chunk of the screens that the film occupies in total. It had a much shorter release compared to the Shahid Kapoor - Saif Ali Khan - Kangana Ranaut starrer, as far as number of screens are concerned.
But the film is expected to see a little jump in the night shows because Vidyut's action moves have got the audiences crazy in the prequel and he has a loyal fan base. The film will rake in around Rs 4 crore on its opening day and might be higher if the night shows go really well.
