NTA NEET result delayed? Phase 2 application process, edit window for medical entrance exam reopens

Students can edit their gender, nationality, email address, category, sub-category, and all fields of the second phase.

Lakhs of students, who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Undergraduate - NEET 2021 medical entrance examinations on September 12, are awaiting the results. However, now the results have been delayed as the National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the second phase application process and the application correction window for the NEET-UG. Candidates can apply for NEET UG second phase till 11:50 pm on October 26. The application window can be accessed at neet.nta.ac.in

“On receiving numerous requests from the candidates, the National Testing Agency is opening the window for filling up of the second set of information correction/modification of the particulars of the first and second phase of online application for NEET (UG) 2021," NTA said in an official notice.

Students can edit their gender, nationality, email address, category, sub-category, and all fields of the second phase. The window to edit the form will be open till October 26, up to 11:50 pm. 

As per media reports, the National Testing Agency is expected to declare the NEET UG Result 2021 by October 30. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the NEET-UG result date 2021 yet.

For NEET 2021 Phase 2 application form, students are required to fill -- Personal details, Educational Details, Residential information, Parents' income.

NEET 2021 application form has been divided by NTA into two parts: phase 1 and phase 2. The first phase application form is required to be filled before the NEET 2021 exam and the Phase 2 NEET application is required to be filled before the declaration of result.

It is expected that NTA will release the NEET 2021 entrance exam final answer key and NEET 2021 entrance exam results at the same time. Notably, the NEET 2021 entrance exam was conducted across the country on September 12 in offline mode at over 3,800 centres.
