After the dramatic loss to India in the second Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, England have named their squad for the third Test which will be taking place in Ahmedabad from Wednesday, February 24.
The English side have added Jonny Bairstow and Mark Wood to the side after they were rested for the first two Tests. All-rounder Moeen Ali will return back to England for a break.

The Indian side could also see some changes as Mohammad Shami and Navdeep Saini are likely to join the team from the third Test. The two pacers have recovered from their respective injuries and have been asked by the team management to not play the Vijay Hazare tournament, Times of India reported.
As for the third Test, it will be India's annual pink-ball Test and will be hosted at the newly-constructed world's largest cricket stadium at Motera in Ahmedabad. Fans will also be seen filling the stadium for the third Test.
The four-match Test series is currently levelled 1-1 after England had won the first by 277 runs and India making a comeback in the second and winning it by 317 runs.
