After clinching the T20I series in a convincing 3-0 manner, India would have wanted to start the ODI series on a winning note.

However, heavy rain at the Providence Stadium in Guyana meant that the first match was abandoned after just 13 overs.

The rain did recede in the end but the game did not commence. Fans and cricket pundits criticised the poor work from the ground staff and an inefficient outfield.

2nd ODI:

The weather forecast for the second ODI match at Port of Spain, Trinidad looks positive and fans can expect a full game on Sunday, 11th August.

The temperature is said to be 31-degree celsius during mid-day and the lowest is expected to be 25-degree celsius.

The day could be partly cloudy which could force batsmen to see off the first 10 overs due to the moisture that might settle on the pitch.

Must-needed win:

After losing the T20 series, the Windies would want to capitalize the opportunity on an already short three-match series which is now down to two games.

India will look to keep its wonderful form intact and post a win.
