Vedanta Lamba started a YouTube channel in 2017 to run a lifestyle vlog. The channel had no clarity for over two years. However, it helped him zero-in on a business sector. He made his passion for sneakers his profession. He started an online sneaker store, Mainstreet Marketplace. The e-commerce platform is one of the most sought after destinations for sneaker heads.

Lamba is 24 years old. His company now hosts 3000 products including sneakers, t-shirts and hoodies. The Mumbai-based startups monthly revenue has crossed Rs 5 crore. He has also garnered an investment of 2 million dollars from Zomato founder and CEO, Deepinder Goyal, Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath and others. Rapper Badshah also invested.

Lamba said in an interview that celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar had been his customers.

The company has sold over 50000 sneakers till date, including in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

The company has two stores in Mumbai. It aims to open four more physical stores.

The company's revenue in FY 2023 was Rs 24 crore. They are aiming at a revenue of Rs 100 crore by the end of FY 2024.

His business model includes reselling sneakers.

The company also has a store in Delhi.

He has no college education. He once tweeted that he was a high-school dropout.
