Everything's mumbo jumbo in Salman Khan’s Bharat, ever since Priyanka Chopra walked out of the film. Priyanka cited personal reasons for leaving the film, and director Ali Abbas Zafar more than confirmed our suspicions about her getting engaged to Nick Jonas with his tweet, where he mentioned that Priyanka told them about it in ‘the Nick of time’. Regardless, Bharat, also starring Tabu and Disha Patani, currently has no leading lady. But, never fear, because Sunil Grover is here to save the day!

The actor-comedian posted a video on Twitter writing “Application for the vacancy from Nancy @aliabbaszafar @BeingSalmanKhan”. Dressed in a saree, Sunil explains in the video why he should be cast as the leading lady opposite Salman. He makes his case, saying that he would do justice to the role. Sunil even makes a clever reference to Salman’s ongoing TV show Dus Ka Dum, adding “Kitne pratishat bhartiya chahte hain ki main Bharat ki heroine banu?”

What makes all of this funnier is the fact that Grover is already a part of the movie’s cast, and simply wants a promotion. Zafar couldn’t help but throw his two cents in, writing “Hahahahaha ..... you are mad @WhoSunilGrover ... be like this always ...love” Honestly, we wouldn’t mind seeing Grover romancing Salman, it would be one for the ages.

Recent reports say that Katrina Kaif has been roped in to star opposite Salman. Bharat is slated for an Eid 2019 release.
