India lost its first female superstar, Sridevi in February this year. While her fans still mourn the untimely demise of the talented actress, she continues to stay alive in the countless memories of Boney Kapoor and daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
The actress along with the entire Kapoor clan was in Dubai to attend a family wedding before her death due to 'accidental drowning' which shocked the entire nation. June 2nd was meant to Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's 22nd wedding anniversary and the loving husband took to Twitter to wish his wife who is no more. The producer shared her last moments at the Dubai wedding where she can be seen dressed gracefully and looking beautiful as she celebrated the occasion with her extended family. Sridevi can be seen posing for pictures with the bride and groom, dancing with Anil Kapoor and being by her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi Kapoor's side throughout the family affair. Her elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor couldn't be a part of the celebrations since she was busy shooting for her Bollywood debut film, 'Dhadak', back in Mumbai.
Boney Kapoor shared Sridevi's beautiful memories from the video of Mohit Marwah's wedding from the late actress' Twitter account and wrote, "Today would have been our 22nd wedding anniversary. Jaan... My wife, my soulmate, the epitome of love, grace , warmth and laughter lives within me forever."
According to Deccan Chronicle report, Boney Kapoor plans to host an exhibition of Sridevi's paintings. According to the news daily's sources “Sridevi was a marvelous painter. In fact way back in May 2010 one of her paintings entitled Thoughts was auctioned at the prestigious Christie’s in London for a mindboggling Rs 22 lakhs. Sridevi has many paintings hanging in her home and some gifted to close friends and relatives. Boney intends to collect all her paintings for an exhibition. This is one of his dreams to honour his late wife.”
