Tanuj Virwani can be called the blue-eye-boy of OTT. He started out his innings with digital space during the initial phase of the OTT world. After giving out stellar performances in dark, dramatic series such as Inside Edge, Code M, and Cartel, he is now playing a boy-next-door, Jugaadu Ved in the series Bajao. While speaking to DNA, Tanuj revealed why he decided to be a part of Bajao. "For the past 2 years, I realised that all of my shows, and movies have been quite dark, gritty, or they are based on true events. And with the pandemic, we have been through a dark phase of our lives. So I was looking for something different, something that will put a smile on audiences' faces."

Tanuj admitted that if OTT hadn't been there, his acting career would have been finished. "Agar OTT nahi rehta aur Inside Edge nahi milta, toh I would probably not been an actor anymore. When you are a star kid, there's hype and pressure around you. Everyone wishes to know 'when are you getting launched'."

Tanuj started his career in 2013 with Luv U Soniyo. Later he starred in Purani Jeans (2014), and later he starred opposite Sunny Leone in One Night Stand (2016). All three films were flops, and after One Night Stand, he had lost hope. "Unfortunately, my first three films tanked at the box office. On May 5, 2016, I went to watch One Night Stand with my parents, and during the interval, I walked out of the hall with disappointment. There were hardly 10-15 people watching the film. I thought 'Career khatam aur kuch dhoondho'. Then, I received a call from Excel Entertainment, and they informed me that I had been selected to play Vayu Raghavan in Inside Edge. On the same day, I got this call...I accepted and rest is the history."

Tanuj has an interesting line-up of films, and he concluded by saying, "I love acting, and I don't know anything else." Tanuj, Sahil Khattar, Sahil Vaid and Raftaar-starrer Bajao is streaming on Jio Cinema.
