On the work front, Taapsee will be seen playing a sprinter in Rashmi Rocket. According to reports, the film will open in theatres next year around Diwali. Priyanshu Painyuli plays Taapsee's husband in the Akarsh Khurana directorial.

The actress also has 'Looop Lapeta' and 'Haseen Dillruba' in her kitty.

On the personal front, the Thappad actor is in a happy relationship with Mathias Boe, who is a badminton player by profession.

During a recent interaction with The Times of India, Taapsee was asked if Mathias shared any tips or they discussed the actor playing an athlete onscreen. To which she stated, "I think a brain surgeon cannot really tell a heart surgeon what to do! So, I don’t think it is fair to compare and share tips on such different sports."

The actor had earlier told Pinkvilla about getting her parent's approval on her relationship with Mathias. She said, "There’s someone in my life and my family knows about it. It’s very important for me that my family - including my sister and my parents - they like the person who I’m with. Else it won’t work for me. I remember joking about it and telling someone, 'Agar mummy papa nahi maane, toh mujhe nahi lagta kuch ho sakta hai (If my parents don’t agree, I don’t think this relationship has a future)'."
