'Sun Raha Hai Na Tu' fame singer Ankit Tiwari gets engaged to Pallavi, pics inside

2018 seems to be the year of weddings.After Gautam Rode, Gaurav Chopra, Mohit Marwah,  even singer-composer Ankit Tiwari is all set to get hitched his year.

On Tuesday night, Ankit Tiwari got engaged to Bangalore girl Pallavi Shukla and posted the first picture with his bride-to-be. 'Aashique 2' singer made a beautiful promise to his fiancee and captioned it, " I will spend an eternity loving you, caring for you, respect you, showing you everyday that I hold you as high as the stars. #finallyengaged "

According to Mumbai Mirror report, the couple is all set to get hitched on February 23rd in Kanpur. His family told Mumbai daily that due to Ankit Tiwari's events planned much in advance, the wedding celebrations will be accomodated around musican's busy schedule. His brother cum manager Ankur said, “Usually weddings in our family last 10-12 days, but Ankit doesn’t have the time. His shows are booked months in advance and we worked around his dates.” 

It's an arranged marriage for the couple and Ankit Tiwari described his first meeting with Pallavi, which was fixed by their families. The singer said, "During our first meeting there were 10 others seated between us"

Reportedly, Ankit's dadi found his life partner on a train journey from Kanpur to Delhi. The two chatted for a while and she instantly knew that she had found the perfect match for her grandson.  And in three months time their wedding got fixed. The duo got engaged on February 20th which will be followed by mehendi, haldi and sangeet ceremony. Wedding will happen in Kanpur on Monday. The couple plans to throw a reception for their friends in Mumbai only after Ankit Tiwari finishes his tour across India.
