Simmba Box Office: Ranveer Singh-Sara Ali Khan's film refuses to slow down, rakes in Rs 139.03 crore, full break down

Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan's recent release titled Simmba is ruling the box office and smashing records left, right and centre at the ticket windows. The Rohit Shetty directorial has managed to impress the audience and the critics alike. The movie opened to a figure of Rs 20.72 crore on December 28, 2018 and has managed to cross the coveted Rs 100 crore mark at the box office in just five days of its release. Till Wednesday, Simmba has managed to rake in a total of Rs 139.03 crore at the box office

Here's the full box office break down of the film:

Friday: Rs 20.72 crore

Saturday: Rs 23.33 crore

Sunday: Rs 31.06 crore

Monday: Rs 21.34 crore

Tuesday: Rs 28.19 crore

Wednesday: Rs 14.49 crore

Total: Rs 139.03 crore

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to share the box office details of the film in the first six days. He wrote, "#Simmba is a SMASH HIT... Continues to collect in double digits, even after New Year celebrations have ended... This one is not slowing down soon... Fri 20.72 cr, Sat 23.33 cr, Sun 31.06 cr, Mon 21.24 cr, Tue 28.19 cr, Wed 14.49 cr. Total: ₹ 139.03 cr. India biz."

For those who are uninitiated, Simmba is a remake of South hit Temper. It's the second film of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan. This is the first time that Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty have collaborated for a film after doing the TVCs for a noodle brand. 

Simmba is riding on an extremely positive word of mouth and is raking in the moolah overseas as well. Watch this space for all the upadates...
