Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer Jabariya Jodi makers announced that the movie is slated to release on August 2 this year
The promotions ofr Khandaani Shafakhana, featuring Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Sharma and Badshah, have begun in full swing. Post the trailer of the film, its first song Koka released on Friday. This was followed by news that Diana Penty would step into Raveena Tandon's shoes for 'Sheher Ki Ladki' recreation.
This took place after the release date of Khandaani Shafakhana changed to August 2. On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra-Parineeti Chopra's much-awaited Jabariya Jodi new motion poster is out now. This motion poster features the same release date as Khandaani Shafakhana.
While announcing the new release date, the makers of Khandaani Shafakhana had released a new poster featuring the three main leads viz. Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Sharma and Badshah. Similarly Jabariya Jodi new motion poster features Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra along with a man who is called 'Dulha no. 46'.
While sharing the poster on Instagram, lead actor Sidharth wrote, "2 deewane, 1 nishaana Dulhe ko pakadwana! (two crazy people, one target, to target the groom!) Save the date #JabariyaJodi trailer out in 2 days."

Produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and Shailesh Singh's Karma Media Net, the flick is directed by Prashant Singh. Parineeti last appeared in 'Kesari' alongside Akshay Kumar and will next be seen in 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' opposite Arjun Kapoor. On the other hand, Sidharth will next appear in 'Marjaavan' opposite his 'Ek Villain' co-star Riteish Deshmukh and newbie Tara Sutaria. He will also feature in Shershaah i.e. Vikram Batra biopic alongside Kiara Advani.
