Sanjay Dutt kickstarts his next venture — the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit Prasthanam — on his late mother Nargis Dutt’s 89th birth anniversary, on June 1
After several years, Sanjay Dutt returns to film production. The actor kickstarts his next venture — the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit Prasthanam — on his late mother Nargis Dutt’s 89th birth anniversary, on June 1. We hear that his wife Maanayata shouldered the responsibility while Dutt was away in Kyrgystan for the shoot of his next film, Torbaaz. Apparently, Maanayata not only took the lead in planning the production with the team, but also led the discussions on the creatives for the Sanjay, Ali Fazal and Amyra Dastur-starrer helmed by Deva Katta, who also directed the original Telugu film.
Those privy to the proceedings tell us that Maanayata is sparing no effort in ensuring Sanju’s new production venture turns out well and paves the way for their subsequent movies.
