Rift between Suniel Shetty and Mukesh Chhabra? Here's the truth

A year-and-a-half after they started a digital casting outfit, F The Couch, reports were rife that actor Suniel Shetty and casting director Mukesh Chhabra (Gangs Of Wasseypur, Kai Po Che, Dangal) had a fallout. Chhabra, who would operate from Suniel’s premises in Versova, is said to be now working from Vashu Bhagnani’s office building in Juhu.

Over the last few weeks, there have been a lot of whispers about the reasons behind the split in their business association. Certain reports even indicated that issues reached such a heated stage that things got physical.

When contacted, Suniel replied by a text message saying, “Not true. Mukesh is very much part of the portal. I’m expanding my business interest and hence, Mukesh moved out because he is also directing a film now. Someone is working against him and using me. There’s no truth at all to these stories.”

Mukesh, who is directing the Hindi remake of Fault In Our Stars with Sushant Singh Rajput,  denied the reports. He maintained, “Anna (Suniel) is my father. I’m starting my film in June. I’m very much part of everything.” He even got Suniel on the line and promised to find out who is “spreading these rumours” about them.
