My concept of a birthday is very different: Amit Sadh

Amit Sadh, who turns 35 today, ‘doesn’t believe in celebrating any particular day’. He says, ”My concept of a birthday is very different. I am going on a road trip to Goa, on my bike. I love my birthdays to be like a regular day. I don’t believe in celebrating them like that.” The actor also adds that he doesn’t have any regrets in life.

”I would like to tell people not to have any regrets at all. All these things don’t matter to me. I’m just very happy with life, and that I keep getting roles which are appreciated by fans and my audience.” Amit, who has a quirky sense of humour, wants to start his own family. ”I hope that the girl has at least 50 per cent of my sarcasm,” he laughs adding that he’s ‘single’. Unlike others, his birthday is different.

He says, ”People have a pre-conceived notion about celebration. Just because I’m not partying till 3 am doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy. I celebrate life.” As him about his most prized gift and he says, ”It has to be Imran bhai who’s been my driver for 14 years. The way he takes care of me, it’s really sweet.”
