Kangana Ranaut recalled working with Prabhas in the 2009 Telugu film, Ek Niranjan and even commented on his recent career-graph.
Kangana Ranaut has expressed her wish to reunite with Prabhas, commented on his growth as a pan-India star, and recalled their first collaboration, Ek Niranjan. On Saturday, Kangana arrived in Hyderabad to promote her upcoming horror-comedy Chandramukhi 2.
During the press meet, a reporter asked Kangana if she would like to reunite with Prabhas for Ek Niranjan 2. Kangana replied, "Of course I would love to. I'm so happy for his success, how he has been incredibly successful as a pan-India star. We both were very young when we did that film." Kangana went on to praise Prabhas and recalled how he treated her and the crew with tasty food. "He's such a great host. He treated us with amazing food at his farmhouse, and he was very kind." Kangana further continued that they used to be very chilled out, and teased each other. "I love to meet him as well. I think it has been a decade. So, it will be refreshing to see him, grow as a person, as an actor, and I wish him the best."

Before speaking to the media, the makers of Chandramukhi 2 have released a new promo of the film. The new trailer gave a glimpse of a sword fight between Chandramukhi (Kangna Ranaut) and Vettiyan Raja (Raghva Laurence). The upcoming movie is slated for a pan-India release on September 28.
Two days ago, Kangana claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that she has no clarity on whether the Hindi version of Chandramukhi 2 will have a theatrical release. However, the North distributor Goldmines Telefilms have uploaded the new promo as Chandramukhi 2 Release Promo, hinting that the Hindi version of the movie will be released in cinemas. Chandramukhi 2 will face stiff competition with The Vaccine War and Fukrey 3.
