Amidst plans of a comeback, actor Imran Khan has accepted that he made a mistake by focusing solely on the unfavorable comments and reviews about his films in the past. The actor shared some negative comments and reviews for his 2010 film Break Ke Baad on social media on Thursday. Break Ke Baad, a commercial failure, also starred Deepika Padukone and had received mixed reviews. In his Instagram Stories, Imran said he would not 'make the same mistake again'

On Thursday, Imran posted a series of Instagram stories. In the first story, the actor wrote, "If you are wondering why I'm looking up the past so much... it's because I'm reshaping my relationship with my films. To be clear, I'm not blaming anyone for anything; all opinions are valid, and not everyone will like the same things... that's normal. Unfortunately, at the time, I was only able to look at things from a negative mindset. As such, here is how I remembered Break ke Baad." The next story features several negative comments and reviews for Danish Aslam's Break ke Baad. The next story simply had the text 'That was then'.

Imran followed it up with positive comments from fans for the same movie in the next story. He wrote, "And here's where I realise my mistake: I paid so much heed to the voices that hurt…and I never valued the voices that loved. What a fool. I won't make that mistake again. Thank you all for helping me change my perspective."

Just a day ago, the actor had also shared behind-the-scenes photos from Break Ke Baad, whilst talking about his time shooting in Mauritius. Over the last few weeks, the actor, who was rather reclusive on social media, has been more open and talking about his career. Imran has not done a film in eight years but has hinted he wants to make a comeback now.
