Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are hands down considered as one of the best onscreen couples of Bollywood. The actors have collaborated with each other several times on the big screen since the 90s. Moreover, SRK and Kajol are even close friends of each other and their banter are loved immensely by their fans. On October 20, this year, their iconic film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge clocks 25 years of its release. On the occasion, we came across an old clip from Koffee With Karan featuring Shah Rukh and Kajol.

During their appearance on Karan Johar's talk show in 2007, the filmmaker had asked Kajol to give her reaction to Shah Rukh's son Aryan Khan eloping with her daughter Nysa Devgan. Kajol had said, "It’s sabotage!". She then went on to say, "I would say, 'Dilwale Dulhe Le Jayenge'".

Shah Rukh gave a poker face reaction to her answer leaving Kajol confused. However, Khan went on to explain stating, "Mereko joke samajh nahi aaya (I did not get the joke). I’m too scared about if she gets related to me… (pretending to stutter) I can’t think!"

Meanwhile, as a mark of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge's silver jubilee, a bronze statue of Shah Rukh and Kajol will be displayed at London's Leicester Square’s ‘Scenes in the Square’.

Talking about the same, Mark Williams, the Director of Destination Marketing at Heart of London Business Alliance said in a statement, It’s fantastic to be adding such titans of international cinema to our trail as Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is one of the most successful and important Bollywood films of all time, and it’s exciting to be able to bring to the trail the first film that actually features Leicester Square as a location. This statue is a fitting tribute to the global popularity of Bollywood and the cultural bridges that cinema can help build, and we’re in no doubt it will attract fans from all around the world.”
