Rajveer Deol, Dharmendra's grandosn and Sunny Deol's son, recently made his Bollywood debut in the romantic drama Dono, which hit theatres on October 6. The film also marked the acting debut of Poonam Dhillon's daughter Paloma and directorial debut of Sooraj Barjatya's son Avnish S. Barjatya.

When the Sholay actor recently attended a Durga Puja event organised by the singer Kumar Sanu, he compared his grandson's multiple kissing scenes in Dono with his own liplock scene in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. "Films are our medium to connect with the audience. i choose roles that resonate with my heart when they come my way. I don’t know how many kisses my grandson did in his film, mere ek kiss ka shor hogaeya (my one kiss created so much noise)", answered Dharmendra.

Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi, who played Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's grandparents in the film, were seen in an intimate scene in the Karan Johar directorial. Both the veterans were lauded for their chemistry in what has become one of the most discussed scenes in Bollywood this year.

In an earlier interview with News18 after the film's release, Dharmendra had talked about audiences' reaction to his liplock with Shabana Azmi as he had said, "I am hearing that Shabana and I have surprised the audience with the kissing scene, and at the same time they have even applauded it. I think people weren’t expecting it and it came very suddenly which is why it created an impact. The last time I did a kissing scene was in Life In A Metro with Nafisa Ali and at that time too people had appreciated it."

Dharmendra will be seen next sharing the screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani directorial Dunki, which releases in cinemas on December 22. The much-awaited film will clash with Prabhas-starrer Salaar at the box office.
