Ankita Lokhande refuses to comment on ex-beau Sushant Singh Rajput's 'Dil Se' praise at Star Screen Awards - Watch

Sushant Singh Rajput recently left everyone surprised when he wrote praiseworthy words for ex girlfriend Ankita Lokhande's 'Manikarnika' look. “It looks absolutely great Ankita. I’m extremely happy to see this. May God bless with lots of success and happiness," he wrote. 

At the Star Screen Awards on Sunday, when the media questioned Sushant as to what made him review first look of Ankita as Jhalkar Bai, he said with a smile, “Mujhe kaafi accha laga, jo dil se aaya, bada hi accha laga toh congratulations bolna chahta tha. (I liked it (Ankita’s first look) a lot and whatever I wrote was from my heart. I wanted to congratulate her).”

When further asked if he also wished her personally, Sushant said, “Main jiss tarike se digital platform pe hota hoon, vo really hota hoon. Maine jo wahan keh diya vo logon ke liye nahi tha but unke liye bhi tha and unnko bhi accha laga. (What I write on social media is how I am really, and whatever I wrote on the platform is not for the people but for her).”

Ankita, however, chose not to comment on her ex. When asked about their Instagram interaction at Star Screen Awards, she brushed the topic off by saying, "Screen Awards hai, bahut maza aaraha hai, aap log bhi enjoy kariye. No comments."

She may have chosen not to react in front of the media, but Ankita did reply to Sushant on Instagram. “Thank you Sushant and I wish You the same,” she wrote. The 'Pavitra Rishta' actors dated each other for over six years before news of their breakup surfaced in 2016.
