The makers of the much-awaited film De De Pyaar De finally dropped the trailer today. The movie stars Ajay Devgn in the leading role with Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh as the female leads. In the trailer, we saw that Ajay plays the role of a 50-year-old man who has an affair with a 26-year-old played by Rakul. When the two meet his parents, the movie takes a funny twist. Ajay is then sandwiched between Rakul and his ex-wife played by Tabu.

In the trailer, it came as a surprise to see Alok Nath in a pivotal role. For the uninitiated, the actor was accused of sexual misconduct by Vinta Nanda and several other women. He was even expelled from CINTAA. At the trailer launch event of De De Pyaar De, when Ajay was asked about Alok being a part of the film, he refrains from commenting on it. Ajay said, "This is not the right place to talk about it."

Devgn added, "And jinki aap baat kar rahe hai woh film uske pehle complete hui (the film was completed before the allegations surfaced against the concerned person)."

We have to wait for now!

Meanwhile, talking about the film, it's directed by debutant Akiv Ali and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg. The movie is the first outing of Ajay and Rakul, while he has worked with Tabu in several films before.

De De Pyaar De is set to hit the screens on May 17, 2019.
