Have a problem? Then I’m your man: Dr N Prabhu Dev

“Don’t hold agitations in the university. If you have problem, come to me, I am a student- friendly vice-chancellor.” This was Bangalore University vice-chancellor Dr N Prabhu Dev’s message to BU students on Saturday.

This comes after witnessing a series of agitations and protests staged by BU hostel students over the last six months. While addressing students in a ‘Mini Convocation’ organised at the BU to felicitate meritorious students, Prabhu Dev said: “It is your right to get an education and we are here to educate you.”

In a first at BU, 66 meritorious SC-ST students who secured highest marks in first and second semester PG courses were identified and felicitated.
