Don’t vote for the corrupt in Lok Sabha polls: Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Saturday said that people should take care of the future of the nation and be cautious so that powers don't go to the corrupt people. Rupani was speaking at Cluster Convention held by Gujarat BJP in Surendranagar district.

Gujarat BJP has been holding conventions across the state. The CM said they would gird up their loins against people who spew lies against the government, led by PM Modi in the Centre.

“These Lok Sabha polls are a direct face-off between the party that is committed towards the development of nation and a coalition of outfits which have made lies as the base of their campaign. We have to counter these people who are lying and have to make people aware on their lies and false campaign,” Rupani said.

“The polls are not a cakewalk and we all have to work hard to make our dream come true. We have to resolve to stand for the government, led by PM Narendra Modi, that is committed to development, preserving the culture and respecting the history of India and religious faith of all. We have to reach out among all the classes of people in India to spread the message of achievements of Modi government.”

“Former Congress PM had said that one rupee released from Centre became 15 paise when it reached to the hand of the beneficiary. That proves the holes prevailed in their system and we have sealed all those holes making entire one rupee reaching to the hands of the beneficiary. Congress foresees a great loss in upcoming polls and that is why they are spreading myths among people,” Union Minister of State for Agriculture, Purshottam Rupala said.
