Former actress Sana Khan was spotted by the paparazzi in Mumbai for the first time since she tied the knot with Mufti Anas Sayied in November last year. Ever since Sana announced that she is renouncing the showbiz world to follow the path of God, the former star had not been snapped in public.

Meanwhile, she surprised her fans when news of her marriage broke. And now, months after her wedding, Sana was snapped in public for the first time since her wedding. She was papped stepping out of her car in Mumbai, on Monday. Dressed in a hijab teamed with black high heels, Sana waved at the paps as they called out her name. She did not wait to pose which otherwise most stars do when photographers tail them for pictures.

Take a look at the short video clip here:

Sana had made her wedding announcement through a social media post after videos of her intimate celebrations with Anas and his family had gone viral on the internet.  "Loved each other for the sake of Allah. Married each other for the sake of Allah. May Allah keep us united in this Duniya. And reunite us in jannah,” she had captioned a picture with her husband.

Before that, in October, Sana announced that she was leaving acting and the showbiz industry to spend her life in the service of humanity and following the orders of her 'creator'.

She had captioned the post, "My happiest moment. May Allah help me n guide me in this journey. Aap sab mujhe dua Mai Shamil rakhe (Keep me in your prayers)."

In her long note, shared as an image on Instagram, Sana wrote, "I am at an important juncture in my life. For years, I have been living the Showbiz (Film Industry) life, and during this time I have been blessed with all kinds of fame, honour and wealth from my fans for which I am grateful to them. But, for the last few days, a thought has kept me occupied. I have been wondering, does one take birth only to earn wealth and fame for oneself? Isn't it a moral responsibility of humans to serve or support those who are helpless or needy? Shouldn't people think about what will happen to them in the after-life since one can die at any given time?"

"I have been finding answers to these question for a very long time, especially the second question about what will happen to me in my after-life. When I looked for answers to these questions in my religion, I found out that we take birth in this worldly life to make our after-life better in many ways. And it will only be better when one leads his/her life according to the commandments of his/her creator, and does not make money and fame their only objective in life. Instead, one should stay away from the world of sin and serve humanity, walk in the direction and path laid down by his/her creator," she added.

Sana continued, "This is the reason why today I declare that I have resolved to renounce this showbiz (film industry) and wish to serve humanity and follow the orders of my creator."

"All brothers and sisters are requested to pray for me to Allah to accept my repentance and grant me the true ability to live in accordance with my determination of spending my life following the commandments of my Creator and in the service of humanity and grant me perseverance. Finally, all brothers and sisters are requested to not contact me with regards to any showbiz-related work or invite me for any industry-related events henceforth,” Sana concluded.

Sana has been part of several films including 'Wajah Tum Ho', 'Jai Ho' among others. She has been a part of television reality shows on like 'Bigg Boss6',  'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7', 'Comedy Nights Bachao', 'Entertainment Ki Raat' and 'Kitchen Champion'.
