UPDATE: Apple unveiled the iPhone SE, 9.7-inch iPad Pro, iOS 9.3 and more

The iPhone SE is available in space grey, silver, gold and rose gold metallic finishes in 16GB and 64GB models starting at Rs 39,000 from Apple Authorised Resellers and select carriers.

Apple’s has made some exciting announcement at their ‘Let us loop you in‘ press event at its Cupertino headquarters. CEO Tim Cook revealed the iPhone SE, a 9.7-inch varient of the iPad Pro, Apple Health Apps with CareKit, ResearchKit and the new iOS 9.3.

iPhone SE

The iPhone SE will have a compact aluminium design with matte-chamfered edges, a colour-matched stainless steel Apple logo, and four metallic finishes, including rose gold. iPhone SE with the same 64-bit A9 chip offered in iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, a 12-megapixel iSight  camera featuring Live Photos and 4K video.

The iPhone SE will be available in early April in India.

9.7 iPad Pro

The all-new 9.7-inch iPad Pro will weigh less than 500g and features a new pro Retina display with a wider colour gamut, lower reflectivity, Night Shift mode and introduces new True Tone display technology to dynamically adjust white balance. The new iPad Pro with the 64-bit A9X chip, along with a four-speaker audio system, 12-megapixel iSight camera, 5 megapixel FaceTime HD camera, and faster wireless technologies. The device will includes support for the Apple Pencil and a new Smart Keyboard cover designed to fit the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro comes in silver, space grey, gold and a new rose gold metallic finish, and starts at Rs 49,900 for the 32GB with Wi-Fi model and Rs 61,900 for the 32GB Wi-Fi with Cellular model. Both iPad Pro sizes are available in offerings of 32GB, 128GB and a new 256GB capacity, the highest of any iOS device.

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro will be available in early April in India.

Apple today released iOS 9.3 with several new functions, important bug fixes, feature refinements and Night Shift mode--designed to reduce the amount of blue light iOS users.

Apple Health Apps with CareKit

ResearchKit

ResearchKit framework bring genetic data and a series of medical tests typically conducted in an exam room to iPhone apps. Medical researchers are adopting these new features to design targeted studies for diseases and conditions that affect billions of people around the world and to gather more specific types of data from participants.
