Honor will most likely launch the Honor 7C in India on May 22. The company sent out invites for an event on the same day as well but has not mentioned the name of the smartphone. It will most likely sport a 5.99-inch display with a 1440×720 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is said to be powered by a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor along with either 3GB/4GB RAM. It will come equipped with a dual camera set up – 13MP + 2MP sensors. It will also include an 8MP front-facing camera.
As per reports, it will be available with an internal storage of 32GB along with a microSD card. Connectivity features to include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE and Bluetooth 4.1. Running Android 8.0 Oreo, it will most likely be backed up by a 2900mAh battery. It will be available in Black, Gold and Blue colour variants. The smartphone is expected to be priced at $249 (approximately Rs 16,200). It will be available in Black, Red, Gold and Blue color variants.
The Honor 7C is a toned down version of the Honor 7X which was launched in December last year. In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.9-inch Full HD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 659 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. It will be available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage variants and supports expandable storage via microSD card of up to 256GB. It comes equipped with a 16MP + 2MP rear camera along with an 8MP front facing camera. The Honor 7X runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is backed by a 3,340mAh battery.
